I will be waiting for you this Wednesday. 💜 The Triptych: Global Arts Workshop gallery presents a solo exhibition of erotic art by Tetiana Cherevan. The bold, life-affirming works of this Ukrainian artist have already won admirers in Ukraine, Russia, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Denmark, Canada and the United States. Tetiana Cherevan’s practice is an inquiry into the philosophy of personal relationships, unembarrassed by subjects such as shibari, the Japanese art of erotic bondage. The female figures that emerge in the decorative space of her canvases, interacting harmoniously with its flora and fauna, are at once a source of aesthetic pleasure and a symbol of sensuality, of the limitless potential of pleasure, passion and love. The exhibition includes paintings and graphics from recent years together with new works, opening up the path of a charismatic artist:
💜 “Life flows like water: it puts out fire easily and bends around the earth. Life is a powerful feminine word. Life carries pain, joy, disappointment, hope, love. It is easy to wrap her in the fetters of your thoughts, but not easy to let her feel freedom at any moment — even the hardest.

The ropes of shibari are a symbol of fetters and of the freedom of their interweaving. The water of life is the beautiful girls on the canvases. Three multi-panels — three different girls. One is tied very tightly; she wants to be where she is, and it is hard for her to breathe from pleasure. The second girl has the head of a blue bird. She holds the rope in her hands and in her beak; she is tied tightly, yet she is free and governs her own freedom. She has her own choice. The sketches are scratches, a fixing of the moment happening here and now. The process is unhurried, careful, beautiful. To make a moment of beauty that will remain only in memory.” 🖤
