“Noah” is a work from the “Circle of Life” project. Noah is a Malaysian woman living in Thailand; she inspired this work.
The series was born after a journey to Ko Samui, where an abandoned gallery revealed canvases partly eaten by termites. They were cleaned and reused, turning decay into creation and giving the works a “second life.” Many bore the zen motif ensō — a hand-drawn circle symbolizing integrity, enlightenment, and the cyclical nature of existence.
The artwork took part in the 2020 exhibition at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC).
