Trouble in Paradise TITLE: Adam
MATERIALS: acrylic, medium, gold, pencil on canvas
Size: 150x70 cm
This work explores the universal concept of duality: male and female, temptation and goodwill, faith and doubt. Through a rigid yet expressive dialogue of the hands in the piece ‘Trouble in Paradise,’ I invite the viewer to reflect on the weight of human decisions. Adam holds a pepper—a symbol reminiscent of a heart—suggesting an alternative path where passion and internal fire redefine the story of Eden. The textured sun, resembling cracked earth, emphasizes the tension between the spiritual and the earthly.
